Urban Nature Atlas – NATURVATION

With that, it provides the most comprehensive basis for the analysis of socio-economic and innovation patterns associated with urban NBS in Europe. The CIRCULAR IMPACTS project website has been updated with an evidence library on the circular economy. The Circular Impacts online library created by Ecologic Institute centralizes information related to the circular economy transition. The library helps policy professionals in conducting impact assessments on the transition to a circular economy. It is a useful resource for policy-makers, journalists, scientists, NGOs and anybody else in-terested in increasing their knowledge ofn circular-economy concepts. The new library now forms an integral part of the website and is an important project outcome. Read more

Ecologic Institute has recently launched an online collaboration facility that helps climate innovators bring new solutions to market: the BRIGAID Market Analysis Framework (MAF+). By helping to identify actual market needs for solutions against droughts, floods and extreme weather events, MAF+ improves innovators' capacities to recognize business opportunities in the field of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation. EU ETS Auctioning Revenues Scoreboard

Ecologic Institute developed an easy-to-use web tool that displays ETS auctioning revenue data for the EU Member States since the beginning of the third trading period in 2013. The intuitive and navigable web interface allows the user to visualize and compare revenues by country and year using one or more graphical representations. The tool incorporates multiple indicators including type of use, share used in/outside the EU, actions in/outside the EU and channels used to support developing countries.Read more

Tools for Economic Evaluation of Climate Adaptation: ECONADAPT's Toolbox and Library

The ECONADAPT project website advances the knowledge and evidence base on the economics of adaptation, and converts the findings into practical material to support decision making. Innovative methods were co-developed and tested in a participative way with a diverse user groups engaged in adaptation policy at multiple governance scales. ETS E-Learning Online Course

This online platform is part of an ongoing ETS Summer University program that helps to meet the growing need for improved understanding of emissions trading as an instrument of climate policy in emerging economies and developing countries. The curriculum and corresponding activities are organized into course modules, which allows for differentiation and flexibility in the learning process. Participants from all over the world learn the material online for free with the aid of supplementary webinars that feature interactive, question-and-answer sessions with subject matter experts. Ecologic is responsible for large parts of the course content and coordination among the subject matter experts. Read more

SmartSOIL Toolbox

An innovative 'Toolbox', aimed to help farmers achieve a good balance between crop productivity, soil health and soil carbon storage, has been developed as a result of a major EU research project called SmartSOIL. Measuring Progress – Explore Green Economy Indicators

'One size fits it all' does not apply when it comes to the right indicators for policy making. The NETGREEN consortium recently published its interactive tool "measuring-progress.eu" which collects green economy indicators in addition to helping users navigate through them. This tool incorporates the most important indicators and useful information about each of them. Additionally, an interpretation aid and information about related indicators are provided. By doing, this, "measuring-progress.eu" provides guidance to policy makers and researchers who want to use and further develop indicators and tools in the field.Read more
